The Liberty Bank Foundation celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2007, commemorating over $4.6 million in grantmaking.
Liberty Bank added a branch in Wethersfield in 2008, and introduced Quarter Back® Checking…a product that pays 25 cents back on every non-PIN-based debit card transaction of $25 or more. In 2009, Liberty Bank expanded its shoreline network with a Niantic Express branch offering the convenience of doing your banking before heading to the beach!
Liberty Bank’s newest location at 1169 Farmington Avenue, Berlin opened in January 2010. This is the Bank’s 37th branch, and the third new office in 18 months. The location has expanded hours on Thursday/Friday until 7pm and Saturday until 3pm. Also in January, Liberty relocated its Cromwell Willowbrook Office to a newly-built branch at 72 Berlin Road, Cobblestone Plaza, Cromwell (less than one mile from one of the bank’s former locations at 2 Willowbrook Road). The new location will offer customers more drive-up convenience, expanded hours, and ample parking.
